Movement Practitioner
Embodiment and Somatic Practices
My journey as movement practitioner began with an urge to seek more creative expression and awareness of self. After working as a journalist and an actor on stage and screen, I trained in physical theatre and movement based on the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq where the human body is the centre of a story telling process. Delving further into mind-body discipline, training in Thomas Hanna Somatics education helped me encompass ways of working with the body that are therapeutic, educational and creative.

My twins daughters have thoroughly enjoyed the half term storytelling through movement workshop, ran on zoom. The sessions allowed them to connect with other children in this period of isolation and work on their creativity. It was a new experience for both of them and they loved it.
